Each face needs to have only the numbers 1-9 without any duplicates. The fun part is that without color coding, there is no way to know which face the numbers go on. It's very multidimensional that way. I would really only suggest it for rubik's fans who are also fans of soduku AND have genius level IQ's. If they don't meet all the criteria... they'll probably just get mad at it and throw it across the room. The Rubik's cube is just a lot of fun.
